Do you have some bad habits that you are trying to break? A lot of time we develop bad habits from the people around us. If a friend is eating junk food, u might be tempted to eat some too. If a parent is negative, you might develop negative thoughts. If u have people around you who smoke cigarettes, you might start smoking with them. You may not have been the one to start the bad habit on your own, but you’re the only one responsible for stopping your own bad habits. You can point a finger at the reasons why u have these habits, but the only person you can look to in order to changes these bad habits is yourself. Really put your mind to it. Most the time it only takes putting mind over matter. Make a list of the bad habits that you know you have. Work on fixing them everyday. Be honest with yourself and admit your flaws. Once you do that you will open the doors for self-improvement. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Bad habits are never set in stone. With some self-control you can change them. :)

so true!
ReplyDeleteits only up to us if we want to change our bad habits.
around me(in my school) are so many people who smoke too much. it's wrong, and they did know about it!
only they don't want to make a choise, break this addiction.
there's no good way to quit doing something if you don't really want to stop.
we have to find determination and follow through with it.
my friends says that ''you have heard it many times and I’ll tell you once again. It’s important to focus only on one habit change at a time, so if you have too much on your plate right now, you might want to wait before introducing new challenges.''
and my bad habits are:
-starting with NO, BUT, HOWEVER
-when I back from school I always turn on my tv
-and I always do my homework when my tv series are off (its 22-23pm; late)
but still I'm trying to fight with it :)

I am definitely trying to break mine, which consist of sleeping too much, eating fast food often, and watching sports too much. I am getting outside a lot more and running sprints 2 times a day as well as take daily walks. I know for sure that if you don't break bad habits, you won't get anywhere in life. Change for the better.
ReplyDeleteDear Sheri..... totally true it's up to oneself to change the bad habits but honestly everyone has bad habits you even found them in your best friend or your family but the most in yourself...

ReplyDeletebad habits. yeah, some people imitate what others do just because they think that's the way to get in that group, to be cool. for instance, what u said about smoking.
That's why be gotta be confident and DO NOT BE easily influenced. We gotta make our own decitions, we gotta be able to distinguish what is good and what is bad for us.
My habbit is certainly being late.. but that comes with the package of being a procrastinator.. so the way i try to help break it is just go full ball (on homework) as soon as i get it, no matter how tired i am.. i'm tired of being slow because of worrying what ppl think.I'M NERD AND I'M PROUD!! lol
ReplyDeleteIt's ok to be different, don't fall into peer pressure and make bad decisions, leading to bad habits that may affect your life.

This is so true...The hard part is just the firsts days, but when you are trying to improve your habits like one week, everything is easier!
